Project registration is generally required except for certain exempt categories such as small projects, projects with completion certificates issued before May 1, 2017, and certain renovation or redevelopment projects.

Real estate agents must obtain registration before facilitating the sale or purchase of properties in registered projects.

Any promoter developing a residential or commercial project exceeding 500 sq.m. of land, or with more than eight apartments, must register the project with the Assam RERA authority before advertising, marketing, booking, or selling any unit.

Once a complete application with all required documents is submitted, the authority is generally required to approve or reject it within 30 days. Our team prepares complete, error-free filings to help avoid delays or queries.
